Kohl's PR Proposal
November 2016
In fall 2015, during my Principles of Public Relations class, we divided into groups to work on a strategy plan for various clients. We were tasked with Kohl's, which has seen increases in e-commerce sales lately but has struggle to perform as well in-store, with revenue remaining a stagnant $19 billion from 2012 to 2014. Our objective was to increase holiday sales by February 2017, which we outlined in our public relations proposal along with a creative strategy of several Thanksgiving cooking shows.
Below is our PR proposal for Kohl's. My duties included the SWOT analysis, client problem, objective, media choices (for publicity during our event), evaluation statement, and assembling the sources we used for our research.
