ALAINA MILAZZO
Opportunity House
January-April 2017
During my junior year at Indiana University, I took a course on public relations research and planning. Our client was Opportunity House, a nonprofit used clothing and goods store in Bloomington, Indiana. The course was essentially a semester-long project where my team and I worked with Opportunity House's manager to increase the store's customer base.
Our team conducted quantitative in-store surveys to learn more about Opportunity House's current shoppers. We also held qualitative in-depth interviews to gauge the attitudes of potential customers, especially IU students.
I was the team leader for this course and thus have either written, proofread, or edited all parts of this project.
